Broncos rookie QB Paxton Lynch to get first career start vs. Falcons

It’s still not Jared Goff, but another member of the 2016 NFL draft’s quarterback class will be getting his first career start on Sunday.

The Denver Broncos will be starting rookie Paxton Lynch in place of the injured Trevor Siemian in their Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
He’s got a tough act to follow when it comes to the rest of this year’s rookie quarterbacks, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter points out:

The 26th overall pick in the 2016 draft out of Memphis, Lynch relieved the injured Siemian in Denver’s Week 4 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, completing 14 of his 24 passes for 170 yards in his first regular season action.
He’ll be facing an Atlanta defense that currently ranks 31st in the NFL in pass defense (317 yards per game), and has given up a league-high 13 touchdowns through the air.
